Well I’m at it again (blogging is becoming my new hobby!).
After a very long wait, Neil finally went into theatre around 1pm. The operation took 2 hours and was successful. He is back on the ward, but with a head and neck ache. He has got to remain on bed rest for upto 4 hours after the op. The consultant has just been, they are going to keep him in overnight which although disappointing, (he was looking forward to a day at home eating nice food beore Thurs and then going onto liquid food for the next two weeks!) is the best thing as once again he has been quite sick.
It’s been a long day, but I guess it will be the first of many long days.

Sue,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers, especially for tomorrow. I pray that all of you will have a peaceful nights sleep tonight, and that all will go as planned tomorrow.
“Lord we pray for the safe removal of this tumour and the protection of all the nerves, arteries, etc surrounding it. Watch over Neil,Sue,Dan,Sophy & Amy and may they know your peace…Amen!”

Hi Sue (we met when you popped into Vivid’s office) Just wanted to thank you and to wish you strength as you support Neil and your children. Thinking of you all (as I’ve been since Neil told me about your ‘journey’) and looking forward to reading good news from you later this week. Take good care and with big best wishes to you all. Lily
