Summers finally here! and we have a 30º weekend to enjoy.

We have the Australian family contingent for a wedding. So we have Sue’s twin sister Jacq, husband JB and the 2 girls, staying with us for the week, before they fly back on Thursday.

We have a Band of Brothers BBQ on Sunday followed by the British Grand Prix in the afternoon, followed by the FIFI World Cup Final in the evening, which still has my team [Spain] from the company sweepstake in it, so I will get a prize whether I win or come second. Great!!!!!

Much to the relief of England football fans everywhere, are out of the world cup again. The pressure is off and we don’t have to listen to their feeble excuses again and we won’t have try again till the European championships in 2 years time!

After a poor display of team and individual skills by men who are paid far too much money for what they do!!! They are coming home again!!! or these overpaid players can now go on their well earned [NOT] summer holiday, which will give them plenty of time ponder on why we did so badly again!

We rest of us can now sit back and enjoy watching skilled and passionate teams fighting it out to win the world cup!! Come on Spain and Paraguay! [These are my teams left in the company sweepstake!, could win £100 for first or £50 for second place!].

Just collected from Waterloo Station my new [secondhand] downtube VS9 bike! It’s great to be back on a full suspension bike with gears, after using the company light weight, single speed, vividbrand.com branded bike for a week! Which has rock hard tyres! and is an uncomfortable bike to use daily!
