We had a great week with many old friends camping @ the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset at an event Called New Wine. Which is a quote from the New Wine Web Site:

We was join in our camp village by 6 other families, all from different parts of the country, also being alongside 12,000 other people.

We enjoyed a week of fun and laughter and had great spiritual input form the various worship and seminars. There was a lot to take in and learn from and now its a case of working all we heard through.

The weather was great, with only showered during the night.

We had a great weekend, being joined on Friday evening by Sue’s twin sister Jacq and family, who are here from Australia for a Wedding on Saturday. All the girls have loved catching up each other again after 2 years since they last came over.

Band of Brothers BBQ on Sunday went by without a hitch, with all the guys working hard to prepare and cook great food. All the ladies were very happy that they didn’t have to do anything to help!!. The weather was also great, as its wasn’t too hot whilst cooking and eating, and then brightened up when we had the ice cream cones!!! A great example of community and great team work, well done guys.

I’m very happy at the result of the FIFI World Cup Final, as my team in the company sweepstake, Spain WON!!! I will collect my £100 prize money today!!!!

Now back to work for a rest!

Summers finally here! and we have a 30º weekend to enjoy.

We have the Australian family contingent for a wedding. So we have Sue’s twin sister Jacq, husband JB and the 2 girls, staying with us for the week, before they fly back on Thursday.

We have a Band of Brothers BBQ on Sunday followed by the British Grand Prix in the afternoon, followed by the FIFI World Cup Final in the evening, which still has my team [Spain] from the company sweepstake in it, so I will get a prize whether I win or come second. Great!!!!!

Much to the relief of England football fans everywhere, are out of the world cup again. The pressure is off and we don’t have to listen to their feeble excuses again and we won’t have try again till the European championships in 2 years time!

After a poor display of team and individual skills by men who are paid far too much money for what they do!!! They are coming home again!!! or these overpaid players can now go on their well earned [NOT] summer holiday, which will give them plenty of time ponder on why we did so badly again!

We rest of us can now sit back and enjoy watching skilled and passionate teams fighting it out to win the world cup!! Come on Spain and Paraguay! [These are my teams left in the company sweepstake!, could win £100 for first or £50 for second place!].

Big up the Spanish and Paraguayans!

So I’ve just spend a couple of hours with 50 other people, watching our top national team, playing like a bunch of no hopers. These overpaid guys can’t every manage to win crucial matches in big tournaments, when it matters, against second division sides, that we should have easy beaten.

What a waste of time!
