i123 MIBG Nuclear Medical Scanner

6 days to go and had another scan at Guys today, after being radioactive for the last 20 hours! This scanner was a i123 MIBG nuclear medical scanner, which finds any active malignant cells, this information can be used after the surgery to help the medical team to work out if I need any further treatment.

Life still feels a bit weird at the moment as I currently feel well and unaffected by the tumour, but in only 6 days this is going to temporally change my life for a while, whilst my body heals after the operation.

Still it needs to be sorted out and from my point of view the sooner the better and I can then get on with life after a short pause.

7 days to till the op, this song talks of how God is walking with me.

Had a call this afternoon to go straightaway to guys for another radio active scan or at least the injection for it and I will be returning for the scan at lunchtime tomorrow.

8 days to do and on the train travelling to work with Mike. My last full week before the op next week.

Feeling pretty good and fit.

Autumn has now set in as I’m wearing a fleece and rain coat as its 11 degrees.

9 days to go, mum and dad have been down for the weekend and we had a great day at church this morning followed by a buffet lunch at the Buddha Belly in Bromley.

10 days to go till the operation.
