Sadly we said good bye to Barbara the chicken, one of our ex-battery hens who passed away of old age on 9 November 2010.

Today we had a little visitor waiting on our steps when the girls got home from school.

The visitor was a hungry baby squirrel. Amy helpfully feed the baby Squirrel, which she named ‘Charlie‘ as they didn’t know if it was a boy or girl! with dry roasted peanuts.

After housing the very tame little hungry squirrel in a shoe box and woolly golf hat, ‘Charlie‘ was taken to a animal rescue center, because there was no adult squirrels on hand, to give the baby back too!!!

‘Charlie‘ is now happy re homed in a rescue centre with other squirrels, a parrot, hedgehogs, 10 dog and cats etc….

We had a great weekend in Hadleigh, celebrating Mum & Dad’s Golden Wedding Anniversary and here are 50 years of memories spanning 50 years of marriage. We projected these image at the party, with many of the people in thee photos being press at the party.
